Welcome to Speaking Candidly with Candace.  When life is going well, it’s easy to be happy. Unfortunately, many of us struggle with mental health causing daily stress, fear, physical challenges and even suicidal thoughts.  The real test is how you cope with the pain, manage your emotions, and learn how to live your best life despite your challenges .

Speaking Candidly with Candace is a safe place for individuals to talk openly about their battles with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, drug and alcohol addiction, ADHD,  and other mental health issues.  While there is no cure for mental illness, management is possible. To learn more about mental health  treatment and resources, please peruse this site and listen to our weekly podcast featuring stories of hope, inspiration and healing.

There is no shame in mental illness. Let's talk about it! Together, we can learn from each other and end the stigma.
